Time Voyagers
Gardaland's new attraction for 2007 is "TIME VOYAGERS"
This new attraction is an all-round sensorial experience, incorporating the best and the most innovative technologies assuring total spectator involvement, thanks to its incredible special effects.
On 31st March 2007 Gardaland, the No 1 Theme Park in Italy, officially inaugurated its 32nd Season.
Carolina Kostner, former world and current European ice-skating champion, was here to inaugurate the new 2007 "Time Voyagers" attraction, an all-round sensorial experience, incorporating the best and the most innovative technologies assuring total spectator involvement, thanks to its incredible special effects.
But the "Time Voyagers" theming is also evocative of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the world famous American monumental granite sculpture, reproducing the faces of four historic American Presidents: Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt.
Whilst America built the Mount Rushmore to celebrate its own history, Gardaland wanted to depict symbols that represent adventure and amusement in typical Italian style, creating a spectacular all-embracing technological adventure full of special effects.
The new attraction is located at the centre of the Park, and it stands out immediately on account of its splendour. In similar fashion to the Mount Rushmore Memorial, the set design depicts some of the most important icons of adventure history: an apache, a Spanish conqueror, a pirate, an explorer and a spaceman.
Once visitors have entered into this fantasy world, they become immersed in a new and exciting experience, where space and time are surpassed by a new sensorial dimension.
